Never worn Rolex discontinued watches - What to do?

This question comes up constantly with LP collectors for old but still sealed LPs. Keep it sealed to preserve value, or play it and enjoy the music? The answer in both watches and LPs is clear: Sell the unused one to one of those dolts who would rather think about the mint unused example he owns than use it and enjoy it, or save it to sell some day, and get a used one to enjoy.

What do you mean?

Has ever Rolex discontinued a watch?
Yes. Many times. 5512/13 14060m and many more.

Once the model with ceramic bezel comes out the aluminum is discontinued

F then what serial?
Y and F0's are the earliest and most collectable, I'd keep it with all stickers intact.

A Rolex is a tool watch. It is meant to be worn. No one wants a pristine Rolex. Keep the packaging and documents and beat the living crap out of it like it God intended. Mine is going on a bare boat charter next week, It will be sailing, snorkeling, fishing and imbibing. Get out there!

If it's a genuine flat 4 it is likely to go up in value faster than the other lv models - especially with all the stickers intact. So ask yourself did you buy it to wear or as an investment? Once you answer that the next step is easy...

This.

That being said, I do believe this would be a wise investment
