Since becoming interested in finding one of these little chronograph divers they seem to be drying up and becoming harder to find Muphys law? I pulled the trigger on this yesterday it llooks to be in original and un-polished condition with a valjoux 23 column wheel movement, signed crown, dial and moment. Just not sure on the second hand (re-painted red). Any thoughts on them? Any more of these or different versions on the forum? M
Croton 1st execution Val 23 look for glassy smooth bevel on sub dials for 1st execution examples original examples did not have a red second hand, AFAIK.
I think these are very nice watches. A good article for anyone interested in buying one. http://www.invenitetfecit.com/modeles/chronographe-nivada-chronomaster_en.html
Looks good - very purposeful. Always looking for Nivada information for my blog: http://nivadanirvana.blogspot.co.uk/
They are beautiful watches! Here's a photo of a few of mine ,missing one or two [emoji6] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Shit. I've sort of wanted one of these for a while now. Now I really want one. Those grey subdials...
That's very cool. Haven't seen that version before. Chronomaster ASD's are just cool old watches. Love how it is part Speedmaster, part Submariner, and people really used the heck out of them.
