·Hello OF community! I’m asking your advice today about a watch that I would want to buy for my father (who also has a bug for vintage omega watches). The problem is that I have a very limited knowledge about this reference and I’m really unsure about the information that I have found about it.
The watch has a reference 2395/3 and seems to have a cal.28 or 360 and dating to 1944 (10.xxx.xxx) wich IMO is correct.
Seller is an old gentlemen and struggled to take the pictures but was really cooperative, this is the best I can get for the moment :
My personnal thoughts are :
Asking price is 325 (can probably reduce do 300). Do you think It could be a good deal or should I give it at pass and continue my searching? Thanks in advance for your opinions and your precious help!

My personnal thoughts are :
- That the case seems in really good shape but crown isn’t original.
- Mechanism looks fine but the regulator isn’t centered and is way too far after « retard ». Is that something I should be worried about? (regarding that if I buy the watch I will take it to my watchmaker for service)
- My biggest preoccupation is the dial, I really struggle to see anything (sorry for that..) but it appears to have lume on the hour markers which doesn’t match the leaf hands that are without lume. I don’t think the hands are wrong for the reference so could that be a sign of a redial?
