I inherited this watch from my deceased grandad. It has a Seiko watchband for some unknown reason. I want to buy the correct band but don't know what I need.

What do the two buttons on the side do?
Any idea what year it was made?

Thank you very much for any help.

I also received some parts from a service that my deceased grandmother had done prior to gifting this to me.

Allen, you will find the owners manual here http://www.old-omegas.com/1310-2en.html Your watch was most likely made in the mid 70s.
