Hey Omegaforums, I'm looking for a strap to swap out my integrated alligator+deployment on my Speedmaster Aventurine dial. I feel like the alligator strap is a little too formal for daily wear, and I'll be heading to a region with really hot climate this summer and want something I can put on it to make it more casual. I've been looking for a second-hand 1958/989 bracelet, but no one seems to be selling one and I can't afford a new one at $920 from the boutique at the moment. The lug width on this watch is 21mm. Any suggestions would be appreciated! Here's a couple pictures to help you out Thanks, everyone bb58
Love that dial! This might work: https://omegaforums.net/threads/brand-new-omega-speedmaster-pro-1998-849-bracelet.24906/#post-276214
Unfortunately that one has the wrong end links. I have that on my 3573.50 and the end links wouldn't fit the bigger case size
Ah, 44.25mm. Gotcha. Best luck in the hunt. I think it would look good on carbon.. http://www.hirschstraps.com/products/hirsch-carbon-embossed-waterproof-leather-watch-strap-black Although no 21mm I think. maybe something similar Love the red stitch one on the speedyorite.
Hi, if you google 'Seamaster NZL-32', Omega also offered a nice rubber strap with white stitches for that model. This band should fit your watch. I used to wear my Speedy Co-Axial ( also 44.25m case & 19mm lug-size ) with that rubber band and the deployant clasp. Here's a picture ( unfortunately I sold both last year ): Cheers Thomas
I have the original bracelet from my speedmaster aventurine, which I never wore. I replaced it with a leather strap. I would be willing to sell it to you for $525.00 (firm)
Does the Aventurine still have that corrugated finish clasp that's different from normal Speedmaster bracelets as was shown in the initial release pics?
The Aventurine bracelet is a standard Speedy bracelet in 21mm instead of 20mm (so slightly thicker) and with screws like the new-ref moonwatch.
This is the one that was on the early prototypes, I was hoping it might have been a unique thing to the Aventurine production model but I guess they changed direction, I really thought it looked cool, apparently pressing down on the Omega button allowed you to micro adjust the bracelet length by sliding it in and out like the SM300 bracelet does now with the "PUSH" button on the inside:
Hello, I know this has been over two years now, but do by any chance sell the steel bracelet. If you do, I'm willing to buying it
The DSOTM strap is a cordura strap made by Jean Rousseau. If you want one you can either contact Jean Rousseau directly through their website and have them custom make it, or you can pony up top dollar at an Omega boutique if you want an "official" one.
