Hey, found a Speedmaster 105.33-65 that I have few questions about. Would like feedback please and thank you :)

Here is what I see as issues:
Dial has been replaced with new one in the last service
Pushers look like they may not be original. They are not sticking out like they should (or at least pics that I saw) and are flush with the case
Serial matches with the model, so thats good.
Everything else to my untrained eye looks correct, but please do point out what I may have missed

I will ask the stupid question that everyone loves: What would be the fair price for this watch with dial replaced and any other issues that I may have missed? Would you buy it?

Thanks again for all the help. Much appreciated.

Wouldn't buy it. Much of the value is in the dial, which is gone. Chronograph seconds hand is also a replacement and should be a teardrop shaped end. Can't tell about the crown but the pushers look okay to me.

What do you mean by lugs out of shape? Ed White's don't have crown guards so the lugs, though polished, look to be correct.

I would be interested in the bracelet - if correct, has value in and of itself, especially with the right end links.

Sorry, I meant pushers, not lugs. I edited the post as far as I can see.

Thanks for the feedback though. Good to know.

What's engraved under the lug? Looks like a name?

I'd go $5K or so (not accounting for the bracelet) if you think you can find an authentic vintage dial in decent shape. Such a dial will probabky cost you $3K, if you can find one.

Bracelet would add $1K or so depending on ref, and endlinks could add more if they're right.

If you could get it for $5-6K all in, that would be ok.

    Factor in a service.

I can get it for about $3700 all in.

Get pics of inside of clasp and inside endlinks.

$3700 seems awfully low, but that movement number would worry me a bit....

Sent him a request. Catch is that it is a new seller with no feedback. Would use PayPal, which should protect me in case of a scam. Or at least it did before without issues *knock on wood*

The movement number is low for a 65 because this is a 64! Look at the caseback.

Need a better view of the pushers. They may be tall pushers that are seen, incorrectly, on serviced Moon watches from time to time. A 1039 is correct for a 20mm lug Speedie. This is a 19mm. With a service dial, I would pass on this

I think this is a scam. It's being sold on a website that is rife with fraud.

Good find. Tried looking around to see if I can find anything about this seller or same pictures.

He sent pics that I requested of the bracelet. I will ask about the other add and location. Curious to see what his response will be to it.

And his response on why the different listing:

I travel to Ecuador and Ricardo is my friend. He post in watchnet. but I dont sell the watch by my location. Now Im back.I travel Frecuently in my vacation.

Looks like he may be a collector, or re-seller. He has another 105.003 that he is not selling, and a buch of other Swiss made watches in his collection

I think I may just walk away, as there are too many unknowns.

PS: doing a reverse image search for all the new pics he sent, none of them came back as a match.

Scammers know that there are plenty of Speedmaster Lemmings. They're hoping they can turn them into Speedmaster Pigeons so they can pluck as many as possible.
