Hi,
First post and a newbie to forums, so you might have to be a bit patient lol,
I’ve inherited a pair of vintage Omega Geneve watches. Probably purchased in 1978
There seems nothing remarkable about the ladies, but I can’t find another Man’s one similar to this. I am thinking of ebaying them, but have no clue on value..
Any help appreciated,
Still has original strap and box

Start them at $1.00 and eBay will tell you the value.

The gents watch should do well on a 7 or even a 10 day auction with very low reserve (e.g.: $1 as Norm suggested).
Try to end your auction on Sunday evening so weekend browsers have time to find it.

Take good clear pics of front/back sides/crown/buckle.
See this sale for a good example.

Ladies watch looks to be in good nick so just repeat the exercise

You don’t say where you’re located but I’ll assume UK. With a nice dial and box the men’s will likely reach around £450 +/- £100.

Lots of good quality, focused pictures from various angles are required to get the best price.

Thank you! Yes based in UK.
It’s just that I can’t find another with numbers on the face, so does that make it ‘rare’ or so common that it’s not worth mentioning anywhere?

I wouldn't use the word "rare" when you are offering this watch. "Rare" has been used so often it has lost its meaning by now, everyone advertises their watch as such ... Let good pictures speak for themselves.
If you want, describe the numerals as "uncommon" because that is what they are - "rare" makes a seller sound a bit as if he were selling snake oil.

I agree.
A suitable dial description would be "excellent original dial with uncommon Arabic numerals".

Brilliant, thank you both. I dislike the term ‘rare’ which I why I used apostrophes before. Was looking for an alternative description and this is perfect!
Many thanks

Numerals on the dial with 1960’s Omegas seem to be more common in the UK than elsewhere.

The Arabic dials do seem to turn up more frequently in the UK. They’re less commonly seen but not rare.
