    Hi

This OMEGA belonged to my grandpa, I believe its from the late 60 maybe even before, it’s a 32 size, Seamaster.

I really would like to know what year and model it is.

    Thanks IMG_20170110_160129_HDR.jpg IMG_20170110_160150_HDR.jpg

Hard to tell the year without the serial number. Go to a watchmaker and have him open the case, and then write down the serial number, caliber and reference from the movement.
Since its a unishell case, he has to go through the dial to open it, but that should not pose a problem :)

    Not a problem :)

When you have those numbers, some of the experts in here will most likely to identify your watch in no time.

@adleramit, oddly enough you are the third or fourth new member here within the last couple of months with pretty much the exact same reference of vintage Omega :)

If you have the time, have a look in through the Vintage Omega subforum after posts like yours and have a look.

Some models just had the simple Seamaster name and nothing more. Could be an early 60's design as it still has some carry elements of the late 50's very early 60's on the arrow indexes.

2 piece top loader case. Maybe 550 or 552 movement

Don't try to open it yourself as there's many things that could go wrong with this case style (I really hated them)

Can't tell anything by a hand. You would need to take it to a watchmaker and have it checked out.

If you feel the watch is to small to wear. Maybe best to place it away and keep it as is. No point in restoring it if your not going to wear it
