Hi guys, So I found my dad's old Omega watch this weekend and I asked him about what type it is , but he didn't remember. Since I totally don't know anything about Omega's I thought it's better to ask members on this Omega forum. I know that it is an Omega DeVille with an automatic swiss movement. I did some research but I couldn't find anything that looks similar. I hope someone can help me find out what type of Omega watch this is and maybe also what it's worth these days. Thanks in advance .
Read this. It will help you get answers (number 1 is the key). https://omegaforums.net/threads/vintage-omega-posting-guide.383/ I may well be wrong but I think it's an 80s quartz; taking the back off will tell you everything.
It's not an automatic but a gold plated quartz watch so value is very low compared to mechanical watches from the same era (1987). It's from the "Ile de France" line of De Villes, very nice watches in their day, but that has passed.
