I have a Speedmaster that was my fathers that I am interested in Selling. It appears getting a value on it is not as easy as I expected it to be. Here is the info that I have gathered so far. 1968 pre-moon 145.022-68st with 861 movement. on the movement 17 jewels 26557551. the watch seems to run fine and was maintained by a jeweler when my father wore it.any info and help on value would be great.thank you, Ron

Could be a very nice watch. Www.speedmaster101.com will give you great info and a price guide. It's hard to be of much more help as the pictures are a low resolution and don't really allow much analysis.

Looks like a lovely specimen! A lot of the value will depend on the degradation of the dial and luminous material of the hands - could you post a picture showing the dial close up, preferably without using any filters (iPhone and the like)? Also, it looks as if the bezel is the original with a dot over the "90" on the scale, which is a very attractive detail when determining the value.

…I take it that you have already received the first few posts in your inbox? ;)
