That watch was produced in October 1963...
I heard that this dial is a replacement from the end of the sixties, do you have info about it?
I saw a few on ebay from time to time, last was sold by about time (watchco) last year.
This is not a fake for sure, this watch comes from Gameo. ..

I find this dial very interesting. Most consider the 165.014 the same as the 14755 but with differnt hands.
The OP dial is kind of a blend. It has the closed 6&9's like the 14755 and the small zero's in the 300 like the 14755, but the S in seamaster resembles the later 165.024.

It also has a unique short E in OMEGA that is not typical for either the 14755 or 165.024.

The 2913, 14755 and 165014-62 all had recessed radium plots. The OP dial plots appear to be glued (rather poorly) on the dial surface.

Yes, it's a service/replacement dial. Not fake. But much newer than late 60'ies. 80-90'ies IMO.
There were actually a different one for the 2913 (A1s) and this one for the 14755/165.014 (A2sB1s)

Anyway, wrote a post regarding these some time ago, which you might want to read:

But why do the lume plots look so wet?

    Isn't B1dial for a 165.014 supposed to have the 12 with lume ?
I would like to know for sure for there was a post not so long ago saying that early 165.024 and 165.014 had lume on the 12 digits.
    Thanks

no, only on a select few 165.0x4-64's produced end 1965, start 1966, and in a narrow serial range, typically also with gilt font. The absolute majority of 165.0x4's didn't have lumed "12", and most certainly not the very early ones.

Do you know if all 165.014-62's had the recessed lume dial and do you know which hand set they came with - arrow minutes or candlestick? Thanks

? Don't think I understand your question ? As I wrote, yes dials with lumed 12 are rare and only found in a narrow serial- and production range. Need your serial, pictures etc. to validate.

Im also curious about this on the OP watch. The lume has a darker footing to it. You can see it clearly at the 6 and 7. Anyone know what that could be or if it's kosher?
