I would appreciated educated opinions about this watch please: IMG_3573.jpg IMG_3576.jpg IMG_3579.jpg IMG_3593.jpg

Does it look accurate for a 145.012-67?

That’s a very very ambitious price. Pricing puts it in collector grade. 10k is more like it to me, maybe more once it’s been sympathetically serviced.

    13k... it’s s dealer right?

Yes it is a dealer. Does having bracelet raise value?

It’s a dealer price about 1.5k for the bracelet I believe hard to tell condition though.

Head only collector grade is 12.5 good is 7.5 k. I personally like the dial a lot it’s a great dial. But the watch needs a service by someone that knows their stuff which will not be cheap as evidenced by the rust spots. I personally think it’s a good price for a dealer which means it’s about 20% high.

    Does that help?

Helped a lot. I passed and went with another much less expensive 145.012 that has great dial equal bezel but no bracelet. However it was $6k less so I will just wear it on a Nato!

Thank you very much for the advice as I continue to learn. Watch collecting is an addiction ;)

Actually 3 models, but judging by the serial #, it looks like it could be a 145.012-68 or 145.022-68. The serial might be too high for a 145.012-67.

I have not received yet so like a kid on Christmas waiting on shipment but here are sellers pictures. I can send it back so if it is bad will not hurt my feelings with honest assessment :)

Not to bum you out, but if it were me, I'd go with the 13K one...

There is a reason (a few actually) why the other watch is 6K less.

    It has no bracelet -$1,200
It has no 516 end links. -$800
It has a service crown. -$700
    It has service pushers. -$150
It has a much softer case.
It has (at least in one of the pictures) a shorter (service) Chrono sweep hand.
(Lume also looks in different color. Make sure you're getting the watch with the longer Chrono hand).

The DON bezel is not as nice as on the 13K watch.
And most importantly, the dial is in Meh- shape. Lume is almost completely washed.
(Dial being the most important part of the watch value-wise).

So again, not to rain on your parade, but in all honesty you did not get a "Bargain", you just bought a much lesser example at a much lesser price.
If you are OK with the watch, then great!
But in my book it is always Condition, condition, condition first.

In a few months/year as market prices will continue to rise, you will always stay a head with the primo example.
And as market prices keep on rising, collectors are always looking for the best examples and steering even further away from the runts.

Always remember the fist rule of buying vintage:

It is always better to pay up for a primo example than pay less for a mediocre one.

    Just my two Shekels...

Great starter Speedmaster none the less.

Don't forget service after you have worn it for a week or two( like any new toy ;) ) unless you have recipes for a recent service. You don't want to make the service twice as much if you wear it unserviced for too long. Especially a 321 movement
