    i love the dial and hands.there are some patina on the dial.
    bit i cannot confirm if its an original one.

    All authentic Zenith parts, question is if they left the factory in each others' company.
    The dial and handset is similar to the Captain "DeLuxe" models, but the case isn't.

    I'm also wondering about the movement. The serial number puts it sometime around 1962/63. Isn't that a little late for a 133.8?

    It doesn't look like it's just the first time that dial furniture has been attached.

    good observation. This is the highest number for a 133.8 that I have seen. Perhaps the watch is something Zenith cobbled together to get rid of unused movements?

    Dunno. Personal theory here about the A277, which to my eye is so poorly conceived and generic compared to other products that I believe Zenith was just trying to find a quick way to unload 146s

    Well, they did it with the cal. 135, so I don't see why they might not have with other calibers.
