i love the dial and hands.there are some patina on the dial. bit i cannot confirm if its an original one.
Always post pictures if you need help. ( you just showed 20,000 people the watch ) Edit the title to " Need help with Zenith pie pan " And set a Avatar so we know who you are @LouS or @m neuman
Cool, thanks for doing the above. Helps you get more people looking and helping. I have already called a few of our Zenith guys that will see this when they log on.
All authentic Zenith parts, question is if they left the factory in each others' company. The dial and handset is similar to the Captain "DeLuxe" models, but the case isn't.
I'm also wondering about the movement. The serial number puts it sometime around 1962/63. Isn't that a little late for a 133.8?
good observation. This is the highest number for a 133.8 that I have seen. Perhaps the watch is something Zenith cobbled together to get rid of unused movements?
Dunno. Personal theory here about the A277, which to my eye is so poorly conceived and generic compared to other products that I believe Zenith was just trying to find a quick way to unload 146s
