Good Day Friends, My father called me today as he was in a antique/consignment shop of sorts and spotted this watch. He asked my thoughts on it, but unfortunately, it's out of my realm... I'm not at all familiar with it. Can some one pls offer some insight as far as the brand, movement, maker... and whether or not it'd be worth picking up for the $950 that's being asked. Pretty sure that's one of the Chronographe Suisse type watches with a Landeron X48 caliber movement. The question here is how much gold is there in the case? Doesn't look like one of the older, hollow cases. But I can't be sure. My feeling is that this watch is priced at about double its value. gatorcpa
