I picked this one up recently and need some help. The 4:00 marker is wrong. What about 12:00? Heck, are any of them correct? Never seen this one. Where can I find these parts??

 

Nothing wrong with the the 4h marker, it's the 8h and 12h ones are completely wrong as in foreign to the watch. The 6h is a bit crooked also. These markers are common on similar Seamasters of the period so a donner watch/dial is a possibility. Same chronometre dial is pretty rare to come by these days.

 

Sorry. I meant 8:00. Does anyone have a pic of the correct 12:00?

 

12:00 should simply be a square like the others?

 

Well then it's gonna be tough. At least it's not as rare as the whole chronometre dial since I'm sure they are available on non-chronometre dials. Not that it's readily available, but it's a possibility.

Looking for new dial for the early 50s chronometers??

Those are examples to say that they exist out there. Don't look for the whole dial, just a few markers of the same type only, maybe on a throw-away dial or similar. Luck and patience, my man.

 

You'd be surprised on the NOS stuff found at Ofrei, Julesborel, etc.

 

Not for the less common ones and you have a very uncommon piece.
