Hi all ! Need help to identify : Excuse me please for the bad quality photos but are the only ones i got. Thank you very much !
Serial number puts you circa 1934. Movement is a 23.7 (23.7S T1?) but the barrel bridge is slightly different to the one I've seen ... and I have only seen one. You may well have to wait for someone with much more experience of that era. Is there no reference inside the caseback? Edit: I defer to the post written above as I was typing!
The numnber on the movement is your serial number: looks like 8792xxx but inside the case back is a reference 25xx - if you can confirm that number you should be able to get some examples either from online collectors or Omega's database.
That's clearer but you've got me. The dust cover is reminiscent of the Rone and Rotary Sportsman models from that era, though the access holes for the regulator and stem retention screw sort of make a mockery of that. I'll be interested to see the answers you get - good luck!
Not sure if it's a thought but this is in my pocket as I sit in an auction room ... It is dated 1927. I may be able to add more from what I can read on the case and movement later today if there's something you want to know.
It's looking similar but i think there are some differences. Thank you very much !!! Hope that someone with more knowledge can tell us more.
