Hello forum, as most people suggest for cal.562 on my previous thread, I ask for more picture on the cal.562 and found out it has engraving on the back case. Can anybody help me with this? Should it reduce the price? Or does it increase its rarity?

IMG_20150112_190111.jpg I appreciate every comment and information here
    thanks

As per the other thread, it probably affects value adversely. I like history of vintage watches so it wouldn't bother me but others don't. It's a long service presentation to some dude from the Public Utilities Board after 36 years.

Like base62 I'm not too fussed about inscriptions on watches. It could easily work to your advantage when it comes to price.

"From the crew of the USS Nautilus - Operation Sunshine - Thanks Skipper!" - huge plus for value

"Public Utilities Board 1929-1965" - not so much

Yeah I got that but as an Indonesian I don't think it really come from Indonesia IMG_20150112_220518.jpg
especially the year 1929-1945 Indonesia still on war for independence. So I can't really tell where this watch come from

It does not say which public utilities board, so there is no obvious answer where the watch was awarded from. Perhaps somewhere in the world where English is the administrative language or perhaps not. You might have more success to research the owners name.

Public utilities eh? I'm translating that to sewage worker. Public utilities operative is a posh word for shite processor to you and me. That is definately going to reduce the price.
