Hello everyone,

I need some help regarding the uncommon Omega end link No. 15.

Today I acquired this pink-gold Omega bracelet ref. 1503/1, marked “GOLD PLATED L 20 MICRONS AND STAINLESS STEEL.”
In my opinion, the bracelet appears to be original and shows very little use.

From my research, most Omega ref. 1503 bracelets are usually paired with No. 70 or No. 570 end links, but this bracelet comes with No. 15 end links on both sides.

I have found some examples of dog-leg lug cases fitted with No. 15 end links.

In addition, I have found at least three examples of the same bracelet reference paired with No. 15 end links, but all of them were in the stainless-steel version.

To my eye, the No. 15 markings on both end links appear to be in the same font.

Therefore, I would really appreciate your advice regarding these No. 15 end links. Which Omega bracelet reference were they originally meant to be paired with? Were they an uncommon end link option for dog-leg lug cases?

Thank you very much for your comments and advice.

Best regards,
Teerapat

Also, if anyone has come across other examples of No. 15 end links that I may have missed, please feel free to share them here.

I always assumed these bracelets/endlinks were a later production, not ”original” to the 1960s watches they’re usually paired with. But I could be wrong..

Thanks for your comment as always @seekingseaquest.

I may be wrong, but this official Omega advertisement gives some support to the idea that this type of bracelet was used on late-1960s watches. However, we still do not know the exact bracelet references or end links used in each picture.

That said, if anyone on this forum happened to buy a watch from that period with No. 5 end links, please feel free to share it here - haha.

Perhaps I’m missing something viewing it on a small screen but what do these ads have to do with the Endlinks you’re referring to? They’re as/more likely to be 1038 or 8220 bracelets with 70 or 570 Endlinks.

@Davidt . From what I can see, this advertisement indicates that the last ads, CD 165.020, with a 14 kt yellow-gold top case and stainless-steel back, was offered with a matching gold-filled bracelet, No. 8270.
