    Any picture of the movement? I'm guessing its probably a early 30CH. Dial and hands appear original, nice condition doppio linguetta caseback 6075, wrong too small crown. Get it serviced by a competent watchmaker and with a new crystal, you'll have a wonderful piece onhand!

    Thank you @Radiumpassion.

    I probably reach out to customer service at Longines for more details. Would like to know as possible about it.

    Model is 6075. See here another example: https://www.kaplans.se/en/auktioner/3374/vara/1429401 Sold for SEK 92k excl 20% fee. USDSEK was about 8.8 at that time so the buyer paid the equivalent of USD 12.5k. Please don't take this as a carved in stone valuation but your watch is definitely valuable.

    Thanks a lot for good info.
    Question regarding value was just to see if it was worth fixing up since I do not know the brand well. I am not going to sell it.

    For some context, Longines is revered by many vintage watch collectors because of the wristwatch chronograph movements that they produced between 1913 and circa 1970. Unlike most other brands (e.g. Rolex, Omega), who used chronograph movements that were produced by dedicated manufacturers (e.g. Valjoux, Lemania), Longines made their own. Not just unique to the brand, Longines’ chronograph movements were made to an exceptionally high standard.

    The movement in your watch, a caliber 30CH, is the third and final movement of the series. First produced in 1947, the 30CH was a replacement for the venerable caliber 13ZN. Like its predecessor, the 30CH is a “flyback” chronograph. Patented by Longines in 1936, this feature allows the user to reset the chronograph while it is running.

    The serial number, as well as a number of other details, suggest that your movement is a relatively early example. Many collectors prefer these early movements because of their attractive, Côtes de Genève finish.

    Additionally, your watch is particularly desirable because of its case. The majority of 30CH movements were housed in non-waterproof cases with rectangular pushers. With its round pushers, press-on back with gasket, and distinctive crown, reference 6075 was an evolution of the waterproof 13ZN reference 5415. As mentioned above, nice examples of reference 6075 sell for north of $10k USD.

    Lastly, originality is of the utmost importance to most collectors. Apart from the missing crown/stem and case screw, your example looks to have all of its original parts intact and in good condition. This is a really great watch! If you choose to get it serviced, make sure that the dial is not touched, all hands are retained, and the case is not polished.

    If you have any more information regarding its provenance, I would be interested to hear. Below is a similar example from Instagram for comparison.

    P.S. The "1" beside "6075" on the case-back indicates that your piece is from the first iteration of the reference. The "61" is an individual case number.

    @DirtyDozen12

    I really appreciate your knowledge around the model and movement. Thank you very much.
    For the moment I do not have any more information than what has been said in this thread.
    I tried to contact Longines but I guess it takes them a while to answer me back.
    I will make sure of not make any big mistakes when it gets fixed. As we speak I am trying to find someone that can fix it with the respect it needs.

    Again, thank you!

    I will be very curious to see how the dial looks once the crystal is replaced, or at least polished.

    @Macfreal My pleasure!

    Longines will take some time to reply. If you are struggling to find a competent watchmaker in your area, someone on the forum might be able to assist.
