Need help on 2710SC CAL354

Got the watch from my grandfather from my father today.

Seems like an 2710SC with CAL354.
But the dail has only the Omega logo and not the name.
Is this normal? I can't find watches with only the logo in the dail.

The printing on the dial was probably removed during an attempt to clean the dial.

Iv'e ordered the extract from Omega.
To bad the printing on the dial is gone.

Would I replace it with an NOS or second hand dail, or leave it original?
Whats the best option for the value?

If you can find a NOS dial, that would be great. The current dial is trashed. Good luck.

The value differential is not high enough to worry about IMO. The value is mainly in the gold.

I concur with Dan. I'd look for a new dial, get the watch serviced, and wear it in memory of my grandad. It's a great family piece you have.
