I've recently acquired this vintage Omega Seamaster. Quite frankly I love the watch. I just want to know if it is real or not. I hardly know anything about the watch so any information I receive is helpful! All I know is that it is a 1425 movement and I believe that it is gold plated. It's legit. Have a watchmaker open it so we can tell you more. But it's not really of interest to collectors. Enjoy your new purchase!

Can tell from the back of the watch. Plus, my guess is that not too many quartz Seamasters are fake. Just an FYI for future purchases, first and foremost buy what you like, but the vast majority of collectors wouldn't ever be interested in a quartz watch.
Quartz Seamasters are a fantastic affordable entry into the world of vintage Omega, congratulations! Not as much competition for Quartz but they're still high quality, and much easier to maintain.
