Just wanting opinions on the attached photos.

Kinda going in blind on this possible purchase. No much in the way of description from the seller, I know not a good start.

Anyway been reading up quite a bit.
But just want to know if this is possibly 144.022-78? And not fake?

Does the Professional Typography look dodgy?

Ive been trying to look for fake Speedmaster photos but there isn't much about for me to go on.

Images aren't the best either.

What I see is all correct for a -78 Speedy, bracelet, dial with high S, T’s and no step, bezel with serifs, hands and crystal with omega sign also looks ok to me. (just my opinion).

Do you have a serial number and a photo at least of the caseback, this would further help identifying a time correct piece.

But!!!

Without a shot of the caseback or a serial number this can also fit a Speedy up to around -84/-86.

Best would be if you have a picture of the back of the caseback, as a -78 should have this engraved inside it.

 

My Extract confirmed -82 says hi, feel free to compare.

I agree, looks like a -78. Looks like a 1171/633 bracelet too, am I right? These sell for a few hundred dollars just by themselves.

Yes it should still work even with a fraction of a photo.
But then again what do I know ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ maybe in a few hours a more knowledgeable member will reply to here and say it's not a scam
