hello I have an old omega Swiss made pocket watch it was my grandfathers but he had passed well before it was given to me so I don't know anything about it besides what's visible to the eye on the watch itself I've tried to look up the serial number and have had no luck please I could really use someone's help in telling me more about it the year and a value number if possible

The movement has been made in the late 1920's and looks like a 35,5 or a 37,5. The case is not Swiss and, if I read correctly, comes from Canada - I am not an expert concerning Canada cased Omega.

It is a nice watch, but this kind of pocket watches is not worth a lot.
