    Don't know much about these apart from it says Omega on them, not even sure if they are real. They have been in the family for a long time with the "Constellation" being my great granddad's and the other one being my granddad's. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks in advance.

    Your grandparents bought wisely, it seems. Experts should be along shortly with chapter and verse. All the best with these, whatever you decide to do with them.

    The Speedy seems to be a 145.022-68 - we would need to see the inner side of the case back

    The chrono second hand on the speedy looks to be a replacement, as the lume looks fresher than the hour and minute hands, and might have originally been a flat bottomed chrono hand. Still, you have a very valuable watch there. You have two special watches. If you are planning to keep them, I would take them to a reputable watchmaker for a servicevof the movements ONLY. Do not have anything replaced as it will hurt the value of them. Then, i would wear them proudly as a remembrence of your grandparents if it was me.

    Very nice pair of family heirlooms. Treasure them! Suggest you do not send them to Omega for servicing, but to a reputable watchmaker that can service vintage watches while keeping or enhancing their value.

    Para-expert here. we should meet to discuss the watch (Speedmaster) in more detail.

    Leave them cosmeticaly as they are and service only the movement.
    If you restore them (polish, change hands and dial, etc.) the watches will loose the originality and their value.
    If you send them to Omega service, they will polish the case, change hands and dial, etc.so don't do that.

    I've been everywhere man,
    I've seen everything...I've been to
    Cross the deserts bare, man;
    I’ve breathed the mountain air, man.
    Of travel I’ve had my share, man.
    I’ve been ev’rywhere.
