Im having trouble trying to identify this Omega Seamaster watch i acquired recently. Ive seen many similar but not exactly the same. Any info appreciated! Thanks all
Hey Chris, The dial has been refinished (rather poorly - sorry to say), the crown is not original to the watch, and the hands are not Omega hands. If you open the watch up we can tell you more about it. We would like a picture of the inside caseback and the movement. Speculation: Judging by the case it is probably a late 1950's watch. Hope this is helpful. Any more specific questions about the watch?
+1 So sorry to say: redial (rather badly done), completely off hands, rather polished case.... From a collector's point of view, any money spend is a pity. Parts might be of some value. Hope you did not overspend. This is called n00b-tax Might be a good idea to ask first before buying, next time around.....
Seems quite polished as well. If you don't mind sharing, how much did you pay for it? If you could return it, I'd advise you to.
