·I’ve inherited my father’s watch 10 years ago and now I’ve come to appreciate it not only for the sentimental value but it’s craftsmanship as well.
I was looking for a dress watch and fell in love with Longines. I’m deciding between the 1832, the conquest heritage or the silver arrow. And thus I stumbled in the rabbit hole of vintage watches as well and found this forum!
My daily watch is a Tissot Gentleman Chronograph. Safe to say I like the classical look.
Anyways, the crown came loose and the Dutch jeweller said it couldn’t be fixed… Currently living in the UK and the Longines dealer says no problem to fix it.
I would like to ask for an opinion here. Don’t want to open the back and damage the watch as I lack the correct tools.
The dial reads 994 swiss 6323. The watch was a gift from one of his friends who travelled to Switzerland for work.
Thank you!!
