Hey guys, I came across this watch in a pile while thrift shopping and I'd like you guys' help identifying & confirming its authenticity. I'm not knowledgeable at all when it comes to Omega watches so I apologize beforehand for my ignorance. Here are some pictures:

That's probably because of the lighting & my bad camera, in hand it looks quite clean and bright except for some dirt here and there. It's not a solid method to check if the gold is real but I tried using a magnet and bite pressure. Both checked out. I was hoping to know other ways of knowing if the watch is authentic & the model name.

Just look at many pics of real omegas and you'll see that the general quality of that watch is far from them. There is no need to know the real model. The finish of the whole thing is ...terrible. Omegas are better made and prettier.

Okay, couple of very obvious things...

    - Omega doesn't stamp the outside of case backs the way that one is, showing gold content.

    - The movement inside is not made by Omega.

That's plenty to know this is a fake...but if you have seen enough genuine Omegas, you will be able to spot fakes when the photos are only 1/2 downloaded, like I could on this one...

    Cheers, Al
