    Hello ,
I hate to be the barer of bad news but your watch is as fake as a bear dressed in a squirrel costume telling all his friends that he is a giraffe.

Not sure I'd call it a fake. I don't see it trying to be any kind of Omega other than the similarity in the name. However a quick google didn't bring up any reference to Romega either (other than a twitter user claiming to be from Tag Romega Watches).

True, the watch does not claim to be an Omega watch. I suppose then it is a Romega watch and the Op should be pointed in the direction of the Romega watch forum for fiurther help.:)

To the OP..this is a Romega watch with what appears to be an ETA vajoux 7750 movement. It is difficult to say what year it was made in as very little is known about these watches. I expect it is either very rare or there are millions of them kicking about the corners of streets and dodgy markets all over the world.

I think the latter. There's mention on another forum of "Omlex" and "Romega" obviously a contraction of Omega and Rolex, that coupled with the twitter user adding Tag, I suspect it's someone trying to position these things as alluding to a luxury watch (not sure how expensive a 7750 movement would be) but I don't think the "manufacturer" has been entirely successful.
