Hi Ivan. Cosmics are usually only worth a few hundred- the dial damage on this is unfortunate. I would say $2-250US- maybe.

The dial looks like it is marble with that damage. I find it kind of attractive, but I know not all would.

Dial looks like it was struck by lightning

And therefore the "lightning dial" variant was coined...and the masses rejoiced...

We could even be fancy and call it a "Lichtenberg" dial.

Despite the lightning damage, that’s the first Cosmic dial I’ve seen with applied Arabic numerals.

I'm curious if the dial feet are located at 11:15 and 4:20. Maybe the dial was exposed to a high voltage shock.

And the lume is fantastic- it really is a mystery what happened there.

edit- just saw some of the pips are missing or blown apart - but not mossy and green from moisture- maybe this thing did take a jolt of some kind

Or someone tried to remove the dial without loosening the screws. If it is held in place by screws that is.

FOCUS! We're on the high voltage theme. 😉

Such as trying to arc weld a broken dial foot back on?

We shall never know though.

If it was a lightening strike (unlikely), that would add to the story but not the value.
