Hi. The other forum doesn't seem to have a clue, so I maybe someone here have something to help my curious mind... I found something interesting while cleaning the attic. It says "Omega Automatic" and "Swiss Made" on the front of it. It feels like bumper and it's cal 344. Diameter is 32,5 mm without a crown. I have tried to find a similar watch by Google, but I haven't seen one with chrono and no arabic numbers. Do anyone here know the year of manufacturing? Or what model is it? Can I find some more information by its serial number? Is there a database for that or something? Thanks already.
you can clearly read the reference number in the case back: 2821 You can google this ref.# unfortunately there is no entry in the Omega vintage data base for this ref.#...
You can research the year of production using the serial number here http://www.chronomaddox.com/omega_serial_numbers.html
sorry, but i think you are wrong - they are matching perfectly. And it seems that there are wells for the luminous material on all gold markers except 3, 9, 12 so even the luminous on the hands is correct
Thanks a lot, guys. Studying these things is really interesting and I have a terrible feeling that it will get expensive for me....
