    Maybe a $500 US watch.

Uncommon doesn't necessarily equate to valuable.

Watch in link is polished to death, not mint, just shiny. Price completely ridiculous.

Keep in mind that looks like 2,200 AUD not USD.

That dial looks a bit better in the lighter colors at least in my opinion. These don't come up that often but that doesn't mean they are more expensive just hard to track. These are worth what ever someone is willing to pay, as they are not really sought after. My gut tells me you have a strong offer, the only way to really know is to put it on eBay and see what happens.

32mm is not doing it any favors in today's market. There is a very nice one for sale on another forum for $349 and a different but attractive dial.

I think he's interested in buying the watch, not selling.

Sorry OP I wouldn't pay more then 300 for that watch.

There are nicer deville's out there. Any particular reason you like this case?

i like the don draper seamaster deville and this is very similar but in the same time more paticular ... in general i like pieces that no one wears and very difficult to find ... even if it's a vintage 150 eur solo tempo Vetta ,Doxa , Glashutte or something like that

The dial is quite interesting and I'd definitely pick something like this up to wear as a beater-style watch that I don't have to worry too much about. I wouldn't want to pay any more than $500, though... it's heavily polished and unsigned crowns are a bit of a pet peeve for me.

Crown not original and neither are the hands

Can buy new hands, but luminous will not match the aged dial ones.

$400.00 and thats pushing it due to the dial and if case isn't dinged up

I think he may have been posting on here before, and his attitude was very interesting to say the least. And I think most of the things he sells are quite overpriced. Though I am referring to hobart vintage watches.

Haha - classic ones to drag up. I had forgotten about him :

"I can honestly say that I have Never seen a watch in better condition from the 1960’s … None , Zero , Zilch & Zip! With the main reason being ……….. they simply do not exist! "

If only he knew the irony in his mad warblings...

Just wanted to compliment the OP. He took the trouble of picking an avatar, posting the pictures available to him, and writing a legible post with the required information. He seems to be getting a hard time for no reason.

On topic: no, this is not a good deal. The asking price would be high even if this watch were perfect, which it is not.

I'm not sure anyone gave him a hard time.

The watch is not particularly attractive, at 32mm is too small for most men to wear, and the watch is grossly overpriced.
