    Hello,

I'm planning to get my first speedy and I found this speedmaster on ebay. Can anybody give me more information about the watch, if the watch is all authentic and matching. I don't know what model it is or if it's a limited edition. Thank you.

"Military" dial? ::confused2:: Typical eBay seller using the word "military" to hopefully get more money for his watch from a less knowledgeable buyer. Wait for more comments from the experienced Speedy guys, but I don't think that watch is "original" either - it seems like authentic Omega parts, but I don't think they all came together from Bienne as that exact watch.

That's what I also think, because it's said from 80's but the caseback is from 2000.

yes it is a bunch of parts.

It should be valued as a collection of parts.

The case is a sapphire sandwich. Not many want to buy that, unless it's cheap.

my guess is it's worth about 1600-2000 if auctioned. It does look nice, I like that white dial.

however I would not be a bidder after 1200. Then I am notoriously cheap.

Yes its a collection of parts but quite sort after parts. The dial is off white colour and the hands are dark grey, I have the same combination on one of my Speedmasters, mine was put together by Al.

The movement is 864, which I believe is a very limited run of chronometer movement, ideally it should have been put with the silver chronometer dial. A waste of that movement although it does look nice with the clear case back

$2000 is probably what you could sell the parts for.
