    Dear members,

I own this 30T1 movement for a while now.
It received a proper revision and is running fine.

As I got the movement and this - in my opinion - lovely
aged dial ( made and marked by Lemrich ) without a case,
I have no clue what kind of case and hand set I should
look for to restore it to as authentic as possible.

    Serial no:9212794

Any help or advice will be much appreciated.

    Thank you.

    Hi and welcome,

The only way to find out which case matches this movement will be to order an extract of the archives from the Omega museum which is costly in relation to the value of the movement.
And if you are lucky to find a case of the right reference it will still be a Franken-watch as the serial numbers don´t match the records of the Omega archives.

    kind regards
    erich

I don't quite understand this. Cases just have the reference number, don't they? If the extract says his movement was put in a case ref.xxxx... how would a case ref.xxxx he eventually finds not correspond?

Because these watches have a 7 digit case reference number stamped on them.

    Thanks.
Unique to every watch and corresponding to the movement serial number?

Yes, that's how they did it back then, one serial number for the movement and a different but corresponding one for the case.
