Hensley you obviously have a healthy and sincere interest in vintage Omegas! I think you have enough of us in the forum on your "team" to assist you in your potential purchase of a vintage Omega that you might as well post your approximate budget and see if anything on this forum's marketplace might pop up as well as get solid advice on what models fit your price range.
Thank you for always commenting on my posts and making me feel welcomed here.

Well, I cannot really put my finger on it but I enjoy collecting automatic pieces that have that “old” look. So far, I have spent between $200 to $400 for each of my purchases, some I may have overpaid. I reside in Japan and vintage Omega watches are quite abundant here.
What I like about vintage Omega watches is that many of them are fully functional despite their age and that really amazes me. Years down, I hope to be able to wear something that was made 100 years before! I am still in my early 30s so I think that might be possible.
😁
Here are the watches that I have at the moment. They are neither perfect nor rare pieces but I like to wear them nonetheless.
1. De Ville Cal.711 151.0039 (Paid $200)
Cabochon crown missing its stone but a replacement crown is on its way!
2. Constellation Cal.1011 168.0065 (Paid $380)
Missing its bezel but a nice gentlemen here has agreed to make me a replacement!
3. Geneve Cal.1012 166.0163 (Paid $0 lucky me!)
Nothing seems to be in very bad condition but I might have the chipped and scratched crystal replaced.
4. Bumper Cal. 344 F-6238 (Paid $400)
Everything seems fine to me!
5. Seamaster Cal.490 2848 (Paid $310)
Replaced the wrong crown with a correct clover one after some nice gentlemen here pointed that out. Replacement dauphine hands are on the way. Unfortunately, I do not yet have a solution for the poor looking dial.
I have been looking at old manual watches from the 1930s to 1940s recently. i might add one to my collection if something catches my eye. It would be nice to wear a different watch for each day of the week.
