Hey guys, I am in the midst of making several bracelets for vintage Omegas, and one of them is the 176.007 Seamaster. I have loved this watch for a long time and would really love to see an awesome bracelet to accompany it. I know the originals are pretty scarce and so I am giving it my best shot.

I have the prototype finished, but the end-links keep pulling away from the case. I am looking for some pictures to help get a better design. Maybe the originals were like that too? Doing a Google image search leads me to believe this might be the case. If you have any way to help, let me know!

Here is what I have so far.

(Also for those of you who were following my thread about Speedmaster bracelets, I will have an update soon).

If they're pulling away, then the shape isn't right. The vintage links that pull away weren't adjusted to fit the watch or they have opened over time.

Otherwise, looks like a winner so far, and I'm looking forward to the flat link!

I think it would be 1170/653. Either way, I am not there yet! I would love to get some stats on the end-links if anyone has them.

Some of them are still available from Omega. Worth a call.

Could you email me some pictures? Back, front, side, mounted. I would be forever in your debt.

They're available until they're not. They still make the 633, so who knows? Not like you have to pay for long distance any more. :D

Does anybody know the whole reference number for those 653 links. I just ordered some 700 end links for another bracelet and they needed an eight number (026ST700) to find it in their system.

I called and they said items only go back 25 years in their database, and that I would need to send in the watch to the Service dept for them to evaluate and then contact the Swiss branch to see if they have what I need. I told her I had the model number, etc. but she said she couldn't do anything if I didn't send it in. ?

Thats nice actually! Well done
I was trying to modify a vintage Seiko braclet in order to fit to my 145.016.
I would need a 1116 bracelet with 548 endlinks, but it seems those endlinks are not easy to come by.. Therefore i also wanted to experiment with alternative solution meanwhile :)
I will be following your thread, maybe i can get some usefull information for myself.
Sorry that i can not help on your issue otherwise! Good luck!
