Hello fellow Omega enthusiasts,

I have one Omega Speedmaster Ref. 3502.73 (Blue MOP Dial, Reduced, automatic) that is currently on original black leather band which is in pretty bad condition. So I’m thinking about getting a bracelet, and while doing some research, I’ve come across conflicting information regarding the correct reference.

Here’s what I’ve found so far:

  • Some say that 1468/813 is an exact fit for this model.
  • Others say that 1469/813 can be fitted but it’s not a perfect match (i.e., might need slight filler or the end-links don’t sit flush).
  • There’s also mention that 1562/850 is partially compatible - it works, but perhaps with compromises.
  • A commonly available option is 1469/811, and while many claim it fits, others insist it doesn’t fit properly on the 3502.73.

Given all this, I’d like to ask:

  • Does anyone here own a 3502.73 and have confirmed which bracelet reference fits exactly without modification?
  • Are there known differences in lug widths, end-link geometry, or case thickness in the Reduced that affect compatibility?
  • For those who tried the above references, what issues (gap, misalignment, too much play) did you encounter?

Any insight or photos comparing the fit of these references on the 3502.73 would be much appreciated.

Thanks in advance for your help - happy to share more photos of my watch or the bracelet end links if needed.
