    Hello all!

I recently purchased an Omega Speedmaster Moonphase Broad Arrow, reference 3575.20. Gorgeous watch. However I have turned to the forum because I am a bit confused. The warranty card I received with the watch shows that the date of purchase was in 2001. The confusion I am facing however is that my watch serial number begins with 7703xxxx. According to this website ( http://www.watchfinder.com/serial-numbers ) it shows that all serial numbers beginning with 77 we’re produced in 2005. So as you can see now this is what I’m pondering over. Watch box sticker says 7703, watch case back says 7703, warranty card has 7703.... but purchase date was 2001? Doesn’t make sense. Can someone enlighten me? Thanks! Also added a photo so fellow watch lovers can enjoy :)
