Hello, I own an Omega Speedmaster 105.002 62. The watch needles are not the originals, nor the wirst and the glass. The mechanics works nicely except that the crown get out of the watch when I want to pull to setup the time. I think this is only a screw to turn in the mechanisms but I'm not sure. Here are some photo to look at the watch. Could you give me an view of the price It could be worth. Thank you in advance
yes but this friend doesn't tell me the objective condition to determine between the upper and lowest range price (8K -20K). That's why and ask your experience
Not nearly enough photos to tell much, but aside from needing a full service and repair, the lume is okay (not the prettiest, but not the ugliest either), the case is also so-so, but the bezel is pretty nice. Barring better photos, I'd speculate it is worth closer to $10k then $20k.
The reason is this forum does not exist to help one-time posters who want info so they can turn around and sell a watch. It is really a collection of, uhm, collectors who exchange info and knowledge. If you want to learn a bit and understand valuation better, thoroughly read the info in that speedmaster101 link. OF is not a one-way street -- if you show/ indicate that you have researched and indicate your thoughts, you tend to get a lot more useful feedback.
In "running" condition, Speedmaster101 lists at $8000. You have, as you pointed out, incorrect hands, and mechanical issues. So sensibly, you could say the price is up to the $8,000 - as your watch is not running, and has the wrong hands. Although ultimately, it's only worth what someone will pay - so List it on ebay at 99p/99c and let it run... what you get, is what it's worth, in the truest sense.
I'll match the $1.600 and up to $2000 .sound like you trying to sell the watch . You been 200 posts before you can do that here .
For wrong hands, they might be forgiven if they were original/left untouched, but those look like Aunty Gladys' toenail job gone wrong...
Sensible experts, when you put your watch for 99c on eBay,and talk about not running for this watch is stupid.
As always, I have no idea what you're saying/trying to say. Letting it run from a near zero start, will give true market value, in that it's only worth what the market is willing to pay, at a given time.
Too many issues to guess at a value. In addition to the obvious incorrect components, the stem pulling out could be the locking screw not being fully screwed in - easy fix........ Or, it could be that the whole assembly is so worn that the stem is incapable of being retained in place - not an easy fix that might require a replacement movement. Where would that leave the price ??
