I own a few speedy and sm300. I wear them mostly on NATO, but my preference has always been bracelet. I have the older 1039 and 1171, but I found them a bit flimsy and fragile. I'm wondering if there is any solid end link more modern ones that would fit perfect for vintage watch case. I would appreciate your advise and if you have pictures to show, that would be awesome. Here is a pic of my beater SM300. Happy 4th!!!

 

Have you considered the mesh?

In the past I've used solid 808 endlinks on an 1171 on my 321 Speedmaster.

The endlinks just required some minor filing to the flange to fit the older case.

 

I do have the mesh. I use it on one of my watches, but the gap between the lugs bothers me still. I also hate putting it on and taking it off.

I'll check out the 808 end links. Thanks. But don't any of the modern bracelets fit?
