Hello Omega fans, I bought my first speedmaster(fois) about 6 months ago and have been wearing it as a daily/work (somewhat dressy witha shirt n a tie). Then I bought a Tudor BB as a "play" watch. Recenlty I started liking the speedmaster mk ii with the bracelet and saw this trade post on WUS. I dont have much knowledge in vintage speedmaster like some of you guys and would like to kindly ask what I need to check and if it would be a good trade with my Tudor BB. Here is the link. http://forums.watchuseek.com/f29/fsot-vintage-omega-mark-ii-ca-861-a-4504699.html Thanks Sunny
It's from around 70-71.I like the dial and the markers, and I like the fact the case still has the brushed feature. The movement looks to be well looked after. 2000 is indeed at the upper end of the scale. If you're going to replace the crystal and get a revision you're looking at a bit of outlay..say 400-500 USD. I'd offer 1750. It's unclear if the seller is offering the original strap or a nato band, or nothing at all...that would make a difference. You will find a better example but they next step of quality up tend to be nudging 2400-2500. If you're intending this to be a daily beater then why not...As for a trade..I know nothing about Tudor BB's but if you're going down the road of vintage, understand what you're taking on...
