Hi,
I recently bought a vintage JLC E855 Memorex circa 1968. I am pretty happy with the cosmetic condition. In fact, this is one of my favorite dress watch. Although the power reserve seems to be strong, the watch is not keeping time and is way off unfortunately. Here is the symptom, I reset the time at 11am this morning. At 9pm, the watch was running at 315 pm. The minute hand runs but the hour hand does not follow correspondingly. Something is definitely wrong.

Where would be a good place to send this vintage piece for service? And how much do you think it will cost?

Thing looks great. I picked up one. That was in less than desirable condition but only have $60. For it lol. JLC has had it for almost 9 months. Hope I get it back soon

My Memovox came back yesterday from Zaf. All I can say is first class experience with exceptional communication. I will highly recommend Zaf for JLC.

Great to know. I just recently bought a number of JLC's, so it will only be a matter of time before they need Zaf. Here's my E855 and ring-leader:

@Zaf Basha has published an excellent guide to JLC. It has quite a few examples of Memovox references, but is not comprehensive - these were many and varied in case & dial design over the years.
