I need some advice on the Speedy Pro listing in ebay - http://www.ebay.com/itm/181452256765Purchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network. The seller does not know much about the watch. By the pics is it possible to make out whether this is a c321 or 861 movement ? The condition is dilapidated to say the least but isn't the casing suppose to be stainless steel ? What worth can it be?
It would be nice to know your suggestions. Thanks.

I really hope that is just some mold and dirt covering that watch cause if that is rust....

 

That watch has been in salt water - AVOID!

 

Can only imagine what that looks like on the inside.

 

Did they replace the dial to make it look better?

 

I was going to say that the hands and dial may be worth it for someone who needs them - if it goes for cheap.

But I doubt the dial is a replacement. You'll notice the "T SWISS MADE T" at the bottom. This indicates that the dial and hands use tritium as the luminous material. Recent dials use superluminova, instead, and would not have the T's on either side. That being said it could be an early replacement, but I doubt it given the condition of the case.
