    Hello,
I don't know anything about Omega watches but i'd really like to buy one. Today I saw a post with this watch: Omega speedmaster Moonwatch 321 105.012. I would like to buy it but I don't know how to recognize genuine Omega, I need your help. Also the price is 960€
    Thank you

    If that’s under 10K euro it’s a scam. It’s real and valuable.

Most likely stolen pictures. Anyone that takes those pictures knows it’s value.

Be very careful. Go slow. Be skeptical.

If they said you can come and get it in person the most possible outcome is that you are going to get robbed.
That aside I think this is not a suitable watch for someone like yourself. As you said "I don't know anything about Omega watches"
I would stick around here for a while reading and learning before going for a watch like that. That's not a beginners watch at all.
For your first Omega, I would buy a modern watch since in my opinion vintage watches require lots of knowledge.

I think your going to get robbed , ask them to meet at a police station. And if you do "buy it" and try to come here and sell it your going to get banned as it looks like your the one pulling a scam.

I'll Ask for a picture of the watch with today's date on a note or newspaper for beginning, it will eliminate or confirm stolen picture

Ask yourself why is someone selling at 10k watch for under 1k, but clearly knows what to photo to establish it's worth. Are you sure they haven't missed a zero off?

Silly cheap so slightly academic but serial is wrong for a -66. It’s a 67 or 68 serial. Irrelevant though since the watch wont exist.

I was pretty tempted myself on the basis that PP would sort it out if it was a scam, but the serial mismatch put me off a little. Still cheap for the parts though of course.

    Best of luck!

IF it turns up the serial number is the least of my concerns.

Why does someone from Poland describe his watch in Italian?

Not on eBay anymore. I'd be interested to know how this played out. Obviously, the price is suspicious. My experience has been prices like that are aimed at tempting otherwise reasonable people to do outrageous things. Meet someplace very safe and maybe take a large, armed friend. (Or large-armed) Photos with some proof in advance would also be smart, along with as much of his contact info that you can verify as possible. If it's legit, buy it. It will be the 105.012 buy of the decade. The last time I bought one at that price was about 2001.
