Hi everyone. Would greatly appreciate some advice on this piece.

Essentially CWC dial with Hamilton signed movement and caseback engraving that would be around a Hamilton era.

Am hoping this mix/match is the result of a transitional period with parts from both companies being used, or a CWC service dial....and not hopefully not a franken :(

    Thanks!
    Ian

I’m not sure about a transitional but these are often found with mixed parts from MoD services. 73 is fine for a CWC so dial could well be original to the case but the movement could have been changed ?
I saw a CWC with a 70 back recently which of course is incorrect, the back will have been a Hamilton replacement.
Depends how you look at it, a lot of these fab fours are MoD frankens
    Nice watches
