Need advice: 50th Anniversary Apollo or 105.012

Dear all,

It might sound like a provocative post but I am feeding this idea since some time now.

Last year I bought the Speedmaster 50th anniversary of Apollo 11, which I wore and planned to keep for a long time, given its beauty and the fact that I think it will be one of the most successful limited editions.

On the other hand though, I kept feeding my dream of obtaining the true and only Moonwatch sooner or later.. namely the 105.012.

I now found a great example (in my opinion), ticking all the boxes (as far as I can see) and I am now thinking about the swap, directly with the seller or with a private sale.

What are your thoughts on the watch and in general about this idea I have?

About the watch, thanks to the estensive research in here that I was able to read these days, plus the MWO, I have been able to confirm that the bracelet, bezel, case back, hands and dial are correct, or it seems so to me.

The serial is also within the range of this reference and the movement has a one year warranty and was freshly serviced (the balance wheel seems to be of another colour but it could also be lightning).

I am not fully sure about the crown but I’m happy to hear your thoughts on it and on the watch overall.

Thanks in advance for your valuable contribution.

Enzo
