[IMG][IMG]Hi guys hope you can help me. This watch was in my mums house for the last 20 odd years or so. She has given it to me and I know it may be worth something but no idea how much. A jewelers said from £200 upwards. Just want the best idea possible. Omega Quartz,DeVille 1168233 it says on the back of it. This is as much as I know about it. Any help would be great. Also an idea of the best place to take it to get offered the money its worth if anyone knows.

Curious: What do you see that suggest it may be fake? Serial 1168233 suggests 1947.

Quartz watches didn't come out until Christmas day of 1969 - the Seiko Astron to be exact.

If it's real, it's a redial. I also doubt it because Omega didn't put much on their outer casebacks. De Ville models from the 80's on can be the exception though. More clear photos are necessary.

When I googled that number, and omega de ville it came up with hundreds of hits, all selling knock-offs, that's usually a good tip-off.
