Need A Good Source To Have A Smp Polished

I am considering buying a used SMP but I would have to have it polished. There are no deep scratches or dents. Just normal wear and tear. I have no idea where to go to have this done or how much it would cost. The combination brushed and polished bracelet is what concerns me most. I have seen some gorilla polishing jobs on preowned watches where they just polish the heck out of all areas and it looks terrible. I want to have it done right. Any recommendations?

What you need is a good quality local independent watchmaker, but finding them is always tricky. What's your location?

Hey Bigmudy, I'm about about 40 miles west of you, Wright City area, I have talked to the Omega boutique in Frontenac but decided to send mine off to an independant highly rated here (Steve @ n2fhl). Haven't gotten back yet but will keep posted. Welcome!
