Dear all.

I am hereby putting a no-date, dome dialed Constellation ref. 14381-8 in gold cap up for sale. The watch is in absolutely stellar condition, please ask for additional photos if you'd like to see more - the winter light makes taking photos that does the watch justice pretty difficult.

The case has only slight scratches and is unpolished and sharp. The 14K gold is slightly dark where it has started tarnishing - if you'd really want to, it could be removed easily, as could any of the light marks, but I have decided against this.





The dial is flawless, the markers have onyx inlay and the crystal and crown are original. The hands are unmarked. Note that the low dome crystal on here is out of stock with Omega.





The back is without any major marks, though there are some slight scratches at the notches at the perimeter.




The movement is a cal. 551 in great cosmetic condition. I have worn this very sparingly and haven't had the watch serviced, nor do I see any signs of previous fettling.







The watch comes without strap, but with complete inner and outer box as well as matching warranty papers and chronometer certificate. The heavily worn outer box has stamps on it with a name matching the warranty papers, so I am sure this is a genuinely original set - this in itself is an extremely uncommon thing. Note that the plastic slip for the chronometer certificate has been lost at some point, hence near full set.




I am asking €1400 for this Constellation via bank transfer, tracked shipping included. I will be happy to take returns within a week of receiving the watch. Watch and I are located in Denmark, EU.

Cheers mate. I guess you saw this when we did that GTG a few years back - but you were probably blinded by some of the watches brought by that "mystery collector" that came with his three suitcases


Happy that this will go to a good place, but sad to see one of my favourites go. This is probably the watch that really made me go from "enthusiast" to "collector", but the way things have turned out I may be putting this aspect of my life on the back burner.

 

Whatever is happening I hope it’s turns back on the right track for you.
