First time ever seeing this in MD!

Ya actually I鈥檝e only seen them in Canada and Minnesota very rare in CT kinda cool everyone was out looking hope the astronauts, satellites and power grid are ok

I'm ok frying a couple satellites for this.

It was faint to the naked eye here - sort of just a pink haze in the north. Looks like you got a better view.

Spent some time hiking near Mount St Helens and visiting a couple of landmarks with the family this weekend!



Cedar creek. The structure hiding along the right hand side of the river is very long sluice channel that powered a grain mill in the late 1800s.



Mt. St. Helens from Goat marsh. It's weird saying how desolate and naked the slopes are with all the snow melted away...



My wife spotted this juvenile tree frog while we were hiking at Goat marsh.



And a couple of fungus shots..!

A friend's early morning visitor - a pretty python. He found traces of it disturbing things inside his house, before it decided to exit via his bedroom louvre window, but was blocked by the large flyscreen. He released the screen and off it went. Northern New South Wales always has something special to offer.
