I recently purchased a Nato strap for my Seamaster and am super happy with it.

Would love to see other peoples Nato straps as well.

I know there is some discussion on if it "cheapens" the watch by adding such a low cost strap. Though if it is a tool watch than I wouldn't see why it matters.

Love it on a Nato. Here’s mine on a Phoenix G10.

Most Seamasters suit them and great for comfort, I wouldn't worry about what others think.
Is that a choice that yours is on the other way round?

Bold choice. I like how it matches with the little details.

I’m sorry but I have to say that ( in my opinion) the problem here is not the kind of strap that is supposed to cheapen the watch; the problem here is the unmatched color of the strap! Sorry but I want to be honest.
You have the grey of the steel, the blueish grey of the dial, the multi-shades of blue of the bezel, the shiny blue of the hands, the white of lume on markers and hands and the white of the bezel’s numbers... I think there were so many colors to match your strap with... so in my unwanted opinion, the black for me is a NO. Sorry!

I actually really appreciate the constructive comment! :) What color would you recommend for the blue and sliver SMP?

Not the original poster, but I think these go well. I mean at the end of the day, as long as you like it, it's fine. We each have our own tastes.

If if one feels a regular nato cheapens the watch (I personally don’t feel this way), maybe a leather nato would be a good option.

Happy that my post didn’t hurt your feelings :whistling:
You can try with a Haveston strap: the “fleet set” is a set of two straps, the “carrier” and the “m-22”, both perfectly fitting your beautiful watch IMHO
Watchgecko has a strap very similar to the OEM somebody suggested you (five stripes: three grey two blue) at 1/10 of the price ::psy::
Crown and Buckle has beautiful straps (not NATO, but a hybrid between a NATO and a Perlon) called Chevron, and if I had your watch, I’d go with a "stone" or "night" color. Nato straps are available, too.
Disclaimer: I don’t sell straps and I’m not affiliated with the names below in any way

After market leather strap for today. Haven’t worn the watch in a few days so the date and time are off right now.

I confess that I'm selling my current watch (not here, I don't have permission) and looking for the next one: I chose the new 300M in blue and Sedna Gold (as you can see by my avatar). I don't know yet if I'm going with the bracelet or the strap options, but I'm getting ready to "dress" my watch with a very personal touch with some NATO alternatives*.

    * that surely explains my previous post :p

So I don't have the watch yet, and don't have the straps... but I do have pictures

That's because I use (badly) photoshop to create images of the watch I chose, virtually dressed with some NATO options. Original pictures found in the web. If you're interested, I can show them to you.

I would love to see some images of your potential watch. The blue and gold looks really good.

Ok, you asked for it ::facepalm2:: 300m haveston marrone blu bianco.jpg 437875-bd960d3b3fc13dfb838d774fccbca5abSEAMASTER.jpg crownbuckle2.jpg omega-seamaster-diver-300m-omega-co-axial-master-chronometer-42-mm-sedna-haveston allaperto.png Seamaster con geko grey blue.png prova cint nato ebay.jpg

Bad quality work, I just intended to verify the matching, not to be photorealistic.
